Yodit started her career as a Mickey Leland Hunger Fellow and worked as Communications Specialist at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) where she designed and implemented communication strategies that support economists in making their research accessible to policy makers.

She has also worked as a management consultant with a specialization in human capital development and private sector development.
